Dear Parents, Welcome to our webpage. We are creating webpages for a Literacy Project. Students have access to their individual WebPage and can edit it themselves, however, Ms. Preston can override any students Page and edit it or delete it. I am monitoring them for appropriate content. |

Literacy Project We have started reading a biography. Each student has chosen a biography to read and will create their own WebPage based on the person they chose. Once they have finished and published their WebPage, it will be graded for content and appeal (rubric coming soon). At the moment, we are "practicing" creating our sites. Once we are ready to begin, students will be responsible for managing their WebPage and creating "subPages" for different reading genres. This will be done at school unless you give permission to access the internet at home. I will be monitoring either way. Each will be graded using the rubric and each member of the class will also complete a rubric. When we are finished, it is up to you and your child if you would like to have him or her continue the WebPage making it their own or if you would like me to delete them.
